The newest section of Swindon Night Shelter is The Haven Day Centre (Queens Drive, Swindon, SN3 1AR) that opened in January 2019. It is run by the Swindon Night Shelter and provides shelter, food, a safe space and activities for the homeless.

A separate organisation attends The Haven every day from 7.30am to 8.30am to serve breakfast for anyone who is homeless or in need throughout the Swindon area. The day centre is open for the town's homeless to attend mentoring sessions, use the showering facilities and be able to do their laundry at the following times:

Monday: 9.30am – 1.00pm (Lunch served 12.00pm to 12.30pm)

Wednesday: 9.30am – 12.00pm

Friday: 9.30am – 1.00pm (Lunch served 12.00pm to 12.30pm)

The building which is the home of The Haven was originally gifted to the charity by Swindon Council. The charity do not receive any public funding for the work that they do at The Haven. All they get is a £20,000 contribution to the cost of the annual Winter Housing Project which runs for a limited period each year. This is the project that has been set up to help 12 nominated homeless people get back on the road to normality in their lives. In 2020, these people were offered other support which was funded by the charity itself.
